    Description

    This is an 1898 Zanzibar '2 1/2' Type 3 Red Surcharge on 2 Anna Dull Blue Pair.  Yes, that's right, a pair.  Both of these stamps have the small 2nd 'z' in Zanzibar, but if you look carefully at the right stamp, you'll notice that the 1 in '2 1/2' is inverted.  This is VERY RARE.  It is in Very Fine Mint Condition with Original Gum.  This pair is S.G. 29D and 29Dj.  They come with an RPSL certificate and are valued at L1680+ in the Stanley Gibbons Catalog.
